How to find reasonable priced rooftop on the Bund?

Hey, any recommendations for reasonable priced rooftop on the Bund or something else romantic for a couple’s first year anniversary?:) Thank you

Vivek Sharma: All restaurants near puxi side Bund are very expensive.. (M on the bund, Mr and Mrs Bund, 1515 west,The fellas)xintiandi is generally crowded and again a bit expensive, can try few restaurants near cool docks and Thai Gallery near Jingan temple.(My fav)Also depends on what cuisine u want and the definition of expensive (varies from person to person)

Alexandra Troyan: thanks! Is it really so expensive? just want a good view:)

Vivek Sharma: 1000 to 1500 rmb including drinks for 2 people near Bund. You can check their menu on “dianping”

Vivek Sharma: Can also try in Super Brand Mall near Lujiazui (pudong side). But make a advance booking for a bund view table for all these restaurants

Alexandra Troyan: Vivek Sharma

Alexandra Troyan: yea, it’s really expensive! thank you so much, I’ll check

Vivek Sharma: What cuisine r u looking for? Let me check for u. Actually there are few Chinese restaurants also with a good view but their staff will be unable to speak English.

Stu Reid: Mythos in cool docks – ask for table on the roof. Also Kathleen’s Waitan is good

Venna Su: Bon app

Alexandra Troyan: Vivek Sharma mostly any cuisine, western and Chinese is the best:) Not English speaking staff isn’t a problem, it’s China!?

Vivek Sharma: Then try in super brand mall. Lost heaven, Ashley, Lang yi Fang, lu bian Qin tang. Last 2 are my personal fav. (RMB 500~600 max with drinks for 2)More details can find on dianping

Shannon GL: Cheapest on te Bund rooftops will cut you back around 1200 per couple 3 to 4 course set,

Alexandra Troyan: Hm… Ok, I don’t want to go to the Bund restaurant anymore:)

Shannon GL: Hahaha

Elizalde Tangalin De Leon: Try to cooldocks restaurant i think quitely dirre t price to main bund area. Cooldocks is part of the bund eastside area. Try the to find out the best fit for you. Overlook of the river is the same in the main bund area.

Alexandra Troyan: Ok, thanks, haven’t hear about that area before!

John Runnion: Too cold for outside-rooftop right now. One of the best cozy, romantic (and historical) places is Peace Hotel Jazz Bar. You can dance there too: http://www.smartshanghai.com/venue/825/peace_hotel_shanghai

Andreas Innocenti Fischer: Roof top this time of year – negative. Reasonably priced on the Bund – negative. Romantic – there is a very good restaurant in People’s Park, not too far from Shanghai Museum, mixed Asian cuisine, I can never remember the name but the food and setting are worthwhile.

Alexandra Troyan: Haha yes, rooftop is too much, I agree. A good view is enough in winter. Thanks, I’ll try to find

Eon Oxa: Not quite a rooftop bar, but who remembers Attica??

Thomas Knoop: Captain Bar has the best price/view combo on the bund, located on the rooftop of a hostel!37 Fuzhou Lu, 6/F, Captain Hostel, near Sichuan Zhong Lu 福州路37号6楼, 近四川中路

Eon Oxa: Anybody … anybody? (Ben Stein Voice) -_-

  1. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop
    a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google
(would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the
    works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
