Anybody recommend a decent men’s hair dresser in Shanghai?
Aria Tonini: I find haircuts here to be much more expensive than in the UK, but the hairdressers are better quality. There are TON of salons. My husband goes to one on Xianyang and Changle called TAO Hair, and they always do a phenomenal job. But I’m sure there are hundreds of salons that would offer similar quality.
Andreas Kleinemühl: ? really ? In UK you become a men hair cut including 2x washing cheaper than for 40-45 yuan ? I really doubt this 🙂
Jetz’kie Loyola: shanghai Haircut cost only 25rmb.. its up to you if you want at 800rmb or more, depending on your needs…

Margaret Andronova: Russian hairdresser Natalya! The best of the best! 淡水路234. Near by Xintiandi subway station (5 exit). WeChat ID: NatalySalon Tel.: 18721601190
Steve Hall: Weng Feng. They’re all over Shanghai. Also recommend using smartshanghai.com. They have listings for everything under the sun with taxi screen in mandarin so you can show the address to a taxi driver.
Sebghatullah Ghazi: If you are in xuhui district then my suggestion is Anqiao salon in meilong rd. The gentlemen is so good at cutting foreigner’s hair
Jonas Frank Jørgensen: I can strongly recommend the one on Yuyuan road near Tongren road! You can even get a cold beer.
Inna Lnk: Try Gillian At Alize next to the ChangShou lu subways station! They have foreign trained stylists and Gillian is Irish 😉 one of the best in town
